YMSB涡凹曝气机（曝气头）是通过散气叶轮，将“微气泡”直接注入未经处理的污水中，在混凝剂和絮凝剂的共同作用下，悬浮物发生物理絮凝和化学絮凝，从而形成大的悬浮物絮团，在气泡群的浮升作用下“絮团”浮上液面形成浮渣，利用刮渣机从水中分离；不需要清理喷嘴，不会发生阻塞现象。本设备整体性好，安装方便，节省运行费用和占地面。单只曝气面高大50-80m3。该机结构紧凑，占地面积小，动力只有1.1-2102kw，而所生产气泡密集又微小，是最理想的微孔曝气设备。潜水电机驱动叶轮转动，排开污水，*负压吸入空气，吸入的空气与水混合，在离水力作用下向四周排出，达到传氧的目的。该机备由电机、联轴器、进气管轴、曝气机体、散气叶轮等构成。
为了去除工业和城市污水中的油脂、胶状物以及悬浮物而设计的。它是THAF系列涡凹气浮机的配套单元，针对不同的废水，油脂去除率80%-95%以上，大部分悬浮物被去除，并且设备在加入合适的化学药剂和混合剂后，可使COD及BOD在此预处理阶段去除30%-60%以上，设备运行费用低，工作效率高，操作维修简单，是对传统的气浮是一次重大的技术革命。
