An experimental study for the elemental mercury removal by Co-Ti-pillared clays catalysts was conducted in flue gas with the addition of HCl. Reaction temperature, preparing condition including calcination temperature, Ti/clay ratio and metal (Co) loading were investigated for the elemental mercury removal rate of catalysts. The result showed that a mecury removal rate of 86.7% was achieved using the Co-Ti-pillared clays catalysts with Ti/clay ratio of 15 mmol/g, metal loading of 5%(CoO), calcined at 400℃ under the space velocity of 1.0×104 h-1 and reaction temperature of 300℃. |
